Rexel France is a leader in the distribution of electrical products and services, climate engineering, and industrial automation. The company primarily serves building professionals and electrical installers, providing solutions tailored to their needs.

With Rexel Express, a robotic system capable of preparing 20,000 products in just minutes, the company places speed and efficiency at the heart of its customer service.

To go even further, Rexel sought to optimize the delivery of its products by offering an ultra-fast service, while also taking an ecological approach. It is within this framework that Everest was chosen as a technological partner.


2. Challenges encountered

Before working with Everest, Rexel wanted to set up an express delivery service to construction sites. However, several challenges made this project ambitious:

Rexel integrated Everest in December 2020 to structure its 2-hour delivery service and accelerate the transition to greener logistics.

Implementation of express delivery to construction sites, with ultra-fast platform deployment.
Interconnection with carriers, for smooth and efficient dispatch of deliveries.
Complete digitalization of delivery tracking, with customer notifications and real-time tracking.
Securing deliveries through a rigorous process: photos of equipment before departure, journey tracking, signature upon receipt, and automatic confirmation.
Integration of new services such as “My Express Water Heater”, facilitating both delivery and collection of old equipment.
Implementation of ecological transport modes, reducing the carbon footprint of deliveries.

Since implementing Everest, Rexel has been able to:
