François Mayaud – Diligo

Diligo propels urban cycle-logistics with Everest

1. Client presentation

🚲 Diligo, the booming cycle-logistics

Created in 2020 by François Mayaud, Diligo is a company specializing in urban logistics with two-wheeled cargo bikes. Based in Paris, it aims to expand to other cities in the coming months.

What sets Diligo apart? A hybrid and innovative approach, combining two models:
Route delivery from a Hub
On-demand delivery from partner stores such as Leroy Merlin, Galeries Lafayette, or Truffaut.

To support this rapid growth and structure its activities, Diligo needed a reliable, scalable, and all-in-one logistics tool.

2. Challenges encountered

🚛 A need for agility and a comprehensive tool to grow

From its inception, Diligo analyzed all solutions available on the market, including internationally (India, United States, Canada). No TMS met all the company’s needs.

The main challenges encountered:

  • Absence of an all-in-one tool: most solutions only covered part of the process (dispatch, billing, tracking…).
  • Lack of automation: customer order taking needed to be integrated directly into the platform, which was not offered elsewhere.
  • 📊 Complex fleet management: tracking the real-time activity of all couriers and dispatchers became a headache as the team grew.
  • 🌍 Scalability: Diligo wanted to prepare its expansion to new cities, requiring a solution capable of managing several establishments simultaneously.

“We benchmarked all the solutions on the market, even abroad, and Everest was the only player offering a truly all-in-one tool.”
François Mayaud, Founder, Diligo

3. The implemented solution

Everest, a comprehensive and scalable management tool

After an in-depth market study, Diligo chose Everest for its modularity and ability to constantly evolve.

Actions implemented:
Integration of customer order taking directly into the Everest interface, without the need for external development.
Implementation of intelligent dispatch, at the core of the company’s operations, allowing optimized delivery management.
Automation of billing and courier management (transmission of invoices to deliverers in one click).
Deployment of real-time customer notifications (SMS and email) with courier geolocation and personalized tracking link.
Multi-city management: Everest developed a new feature allowing Diligo to structure its geographical expansion.

“With Everest, everything is integrated: order taking, dispatch, billing, courier management… It makes our lives incredibly easier.”
François Mayaud, Founder, Diligo
